Tony Battista, known to traders as "The Bat," has spent more than four decades in the options and futures markets. He began in 1983 as an independent market maker at the Cboe and spent 25 years as a Cboe market maker, also trading 30-year bond futures as a local at the Chicago Board of Trade and serving more than ten years on the Cboe arbitration committee. Tony then spent ten years at thinkorswim before becoming one of the insiders behind the creation of tastytrade and tastylive, where he co-hosts the live morning show with Tom Sosnoff and breaks down options mechanics for retail traders.
